| Biography for Donna:
I went to UWO in London where I received my MD. I practiced for 30 years as a family physician and have been retired for 5 years. I started painting with watercolour about 8 -10 years ago without any formal training. Since then I have taken a few courses but am mostly self taught. I work in watercolour, but dabble in other media as well. I am intrigued with light and shadows especially in nature.
I find painting is very stress relieving. When I am painting I am so immersed that I am not aware of anything else in the world and my worries melt away. My greatest thrill was having one of my painting chosen to hang in our county municipal office in Walkerton in 2014.
